City & Tourism Journal of city tourism is the first scientific open access journal devoted exclusively to the analysis of the effects of tourism on the contemporary city, on a global scale. Describing, showing, analyzing, debating, proposing initiatives on the subject matter of citytourism is our goal.

Journal, created by Patrice Ballester, a associate professor, which has an editorial board with administrators and corresponding editors.

We are developing Social Media as the means of creating debates about city tourism : via the Medium blog for the extension of research by general articles for the public and also City & Tourism News.

City & Tourism - Main Features

City & Tourism publishes peer-reviewed original articles, book reviews, special issues, interviews and critical commentaries.

There is no submission or publication fee for City & Tourism.

City & Tourism offers a scrupulous double-blind reviewing policy. The identities of the parties are always concealed, the same procedure is performed for articles popularizing scientific research.

We are an open access online journal , but soon with a paper edition for special journal issues.

We are finalizing the hosting of our Journal in a university and explore the possibility of an original paper journal.

We base our development and notoriety on the quality of published scientific articles and our ability to develop debates on this topic perfectly representing the effects of globalization on our societies.
